Supporting Communities Affected by Mining

More than 300 organizations, from racially and economically diverse communities, participate in WMAN- the Western Mining Action Network.  WMAN provides opportunities for locally-based citizen groups in the US and Canada to educate themselves, influence decision making, and cooperate to create positive social change that goes beyond the boundaries of any one location or issue.

WESTERN MINING ACTION NETWORK (WMAN)
CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY CLOSING DATE: Feb. 19, 2021

WMAN is seeking a team member to coordinate the various network activities to help build strong, diverse, equitable and ethical relations among our collaborators, participants, committees and our co-contractors.

CONTRACTOR TITLE: WMAN Network Coordinator
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: One year Independent Contractor, renewable (no benefits)
($30 USD/hour, up to 20 hours/week – 1040 hours/year)
LOCATION: Remotely (USA or Canada)
START DATE: April 1, 2021 or soon thereafter.
REPORTS TO: WMAN Executive Committee & WORC
