Staff
WMAN currently employs one part-time staff member as Network Coordinator. In 2011 Aimee Boulanger took over as Network Coordinator from long time Coordinator Sarah Keeney. Thanks to Sarah for her many years of service to WMAN's mission and members!
The WMAN Network Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the work of the WMAN Steering Committee. The Coordinator also assists with communications among WMAN member groups, supports the program work of the WMAN caucus groups, maintains WMAN’s website and email listserv, and facilitates a bi-annual conference.
Aimee Boulanger comes to WMAN with extensive experience on mining issues as well as leadership in the environmental health field. Formerly Field Director for Earthworks, she worked directly with community-based groups dealing with mining issues across all US states. Following that she served as Executive Director for the national organization Women's Voices for the Earth and Program Director for the Institute for Children's Environmental Health, in both cases focused on reducing toxic chemicals linked to breast cancer, developmental disabilities, children's cancer, infertility, asthma and other illnesses.
